Shrader Brand History
The Shrader brand was created by Chal Shrader in the mid 1980s as a sole proprietor focused on providing specialized electrical engineering services for public water projects. A decade later, the firm incorporated and began to diversify into SCADA programming for water facilities and design for mass transit and maritime facilities. In 2008, under the leadership of Craig Shrader the firm doubled in size and added communications and security systems technology services.

After three decades of diversifying and transforming into one of the region’s most highly respected firms, Shrader Engineering was acquired by a big box engineering firm. Two years after the acquisition, the founding members departed in search of the startup vibe and culture that laid the foundation for the brand's three decades of success.

In the summer of 2020, the Shrader brand re-emerged as Shrader Consultants, LLC. With the addition of third-generation electrical engineer Conner Shrader, the Shrader legacy of providing uncompromised engineering services lives on.
